The very fact that many of my Facebook friends and followers feel that my exit from the platform amounts to me silencing my own voice, while I have stated that I will continue to write on other platforms; exposes one of the worst things about Facebook.

The primary usefulness of states to corporate supremacy is their monopoly on violence and the authority to police and repress the population. This is why Big Tech-funded politicians are conspicuously statist, because the necessities of dispossession and repression required to pursue Silicon Valley’s agenda will need heavy-handed state power to enforce.
