Sisi is not why getting rid of Mubarak didn’t work. Getting rid of Sisi will not solve Egypt’s problems either.

I have not done the research, but I would hypothesize that the degree to which a state’s response to protest is both rapid and violent, probably correlates to the severity of economic disparity in the society
