While I am not opposed to government regulation of the private sector in principle; ultimately, the most effective regulators of business are consumers themselves.

Can we acknowledge that lockdowns have dramatically intensified people’s dependence on social media as their primary venue for expression and interaction, thereby increasing the power of these corporations, both in terms of their wealth and their ability to control speech and consequently thought itself?
