This case is horrendous. Ravinder should not have even been jailed, much less sentenced to death. Everyone in the UAE knows what happened, but they are ready to execute this man only to avoid facing the shameful reality of the circumstances which led to the Emirati’s death.
The family in this case has no right whatsoever seek retaliation They think putting Ravinder to death will preserve their family’s honor, but they are only adding shame upon shame, and if this execution is carried out, it will blacken the name of the whole country even further. The only way that family can restore their honor is by setting right this horrific wrong before it is too late.
