Obviously, if Egypt descends into a chaos of internal bloodshed, with armed factions fighting each other, or even fighting against the security forces, this will make it all the easier for the rest of the region to unravel.
In Egypt, the original socioeconomic demands of the revolution have largely been sidelined. As various groups jockey for position vis-à-vis the government, and it has become a political and polarizing conflict, instead of a unifying and empowering struggle against neoliberal plundering and corporate-sponsored oppression.
