Revolution does not lead to chaos and anarchy, and that should not be anyone’s goal who is committed to the Islamic project, nor anyone who loves the Muslims and regards our lives and honor as sacred.
Revolution means a complete change in the system of power and control.

If you are focusing exclusively on tearing down the existing system, and are not trying to arrange its replacement, you are not a revolutionary, but a mufsid seeking only chaos, even if it is because you imagine chaos to be better than oppression. It isn’t.

In Egypt, and in these coming days, you have the chance to make the means by which you fight a means also of establishing a new form of democratic authority. That is, your method of fighting can be itself a new mechanism of control. Thus you can actually replace the system at the same time that you are fighting it.
