#Open_source_revolution is the most viable and effective approach to the struggle against the present power structure in Egypt, and elsewhere.
When we talk about the need for leadership, it does not mean, or should not mean, the presidents of organizations, the heads of committees, the spokesmen of factions, and so forth. Leaders are those who pioneer the tactics of resistance on the ground, through action, not theory.
Open source revolution means a struggle with thousands of leaders, unified not by an organizational framework, but by a shared comprehension of the dynamics of the power system, a strategic theory of democratization through disruption, and the tactical tools for initiating ad hoc confrontations against power without the management and oversight of organizational bureaucracies.
The role of parties and organizations is not to make revolution, but to develop realistic positive alternative to the status quo which can be established in the wake of revolutionary action.
