What is wrong with privatizating state utilities and services that are meant to benefit the population?
The problem is, private corporations are legally dedicated to maximum short term profit and maximum returns for their shareholders. They have absolutely no obligation to the public welfare. They will manage former state functions exclusively for the benefit of their shareholders.
