When you are in confrontation with global imperialism, rooting your movement at a fixed location severely undermines your ability to fight, it does not strengthen you, it traps you.
Notice that the main entities of power and control imposing their domination on our lands, are themselves less and less attached to any particular location, less and less fixed to any country. They are called Multinational corporations, but to be more accurate, they are non-national; belonging to no place, and transcending geography, moving their capital (and thus their influence) freely and unlimited by borders.
You do not counter this by seizing land and trying to expand your territory. You do it by expanding your actions across borders to strike the operations and interests of global capitalism all across their networks, without being fixed yourself to any location that can be targeted.
