What you don’t understand is that, when something like this happens, thousands of Kuffar want to know what makes a Muslim so committed…what makes a Muslim so bold…they take their own religions as jokes, and when they see that Muslims are NOT joking, it amazes them, and they try to learn more.
You try to pretend these rulings do not exist in Islam, and you imagine that Kuffar will not come to Islam if they know, but you don’t realize, it is precisely because of rulings like this that Kuffar escape from the Hellfire and embrace the Deen.
You tell them “Islam means peace” and so on; don’t you think the Kuffar can read the Qur’an and find all the ayaat you don’t want to admit are there? Don’t you think they can read the Seerah, and discover all the incidents when Rasulullah ordered the punishment of those who slandered him? Well, of course they can, and they do, and thousands of them enter Islam because of this, and they enter Islam in its entirety including the Ahkaam you were afraid to mention.
