The targeting of multinationals is strictly a tactical and strategic move. It is not for the purpose of punishing them. That achieves nothing useful for the population. The point is not the disruption itself, but the objective for which the disruption is undertaken: to motivate business to abandon the Coup and to side with the people.
They simply have to be taught that investing in tyranny is no longer profitable.
