It appears that neoliberalism can no longer be lifted through democratic means.
Syriza in Greece has already collapsed under the pressure of international business.
After just 10 days, they have already abandoned the demand for cancellation of Greece’s debt, and have pledged to actually implement even those neoliberal reforms which the previous government refused to do.
Electing an anti-neoliberal government without establishing a direct confrontation between the population and business, seems to not be a sufficient mechanism for liberation from the domination of the owners of capital.
