In Open Source Revolution, any form of leadership is based on a meritocracy of actual effectiveness on the ground, not on any organizational hierarchy or party tenure. Effective action is itself the leader, guiding the rebels toward successful strategies, based on results.
Note, effectiveness does not mean destructiveness. I reiterate again; disruption, not destruction, target profitability, not people. Establish a dialog with business using the language of their interests. “No Justice, No Profit”. It is a simple equation.
Now, of course, in the US, they have elevated corporations to the status of immortal human beings, so I suppose when you target a company, they will pretend that is the same thing as targeting a person; but of course it isn’t. Violence and bloodshed are characteristics of the power structure we are opposing, I advise rebels to be conspicuously disciplined about avoiding causing physical harm to anyone. Revolution means fundamental change in the power structure, you can not possibly change it while simultaneously imitating its methods.
