A healthy and sustainable economy is one in which more people have more money; that means more money to buy goods, more money to spend in more places, more money to invest in a greater variety of projects. That keeps an economy moving, growing, and improving.
The hierarchical corporate structure undermines this type of economy at its root.
The simplest and most obvious way to rectify this structurally illogical flaw is for companies to be worker-owned; for employees to be a company’s shareholders, and for profits to be divided among them according to an agreed upon formula.
