Basically, the CEOs of, Apple, Google, Intel, and others colluded to prevent competitive salaries by all agreeing to not hire each other’s engineers. This, more or less, locked the engineers into their jobs at each company. These are the great icons of capitalist enterprise, completely violating the basic principle of capitalist theory: competition.
