As I have talked about before, targeting a company for disruption ultimately means targeting the shareholders for whom the company has become a device for wealth management. You can reach the 1% through their investments, through their money; that is how you can apply pressure to those at the top of the ruling system.
Of course, they will sell their shares when a company’s stock prices drop due to targeted disruption. They will move their money elsewhere. System disruption is a strategy that anticipates the reactions of the Empire of Capital.
It makes sense to organize confrontational action around investment firms. Target the companies on their portfolios. For instance, I have written often about the Vanguard Group, an American investment firm which manages approximately $3 trillion. If rebels announce that any company on Vanguard’s portfolio will be eligible for disruption, it will create significant insecurity for investors, leaving them with fewer safe options for where to move their money, thus increasing the pressure on them to respond positively to rebel demands.
