Of course, the Arab regimes are an important factor in Israel’s viability; and if they were not subservient collaborators with US foreign policy in the region, sure, it would make a great difference. But that does not mean that unless and until the Arab regimes somehow become independent, sovereign governments that reflect the will of their populations, there is nothing we can do to sabotage the Zionist system;s viability.
The only prerequisite for action is the need for action; the only prerequisite for fighting for justice is the presence of injustice. There is no such thing as “there is nothing we can do”.
If you think that nothing can be done against injustice, whatever injustice you may be concerned with, it is probably because you are looking for some kind of dramatic cure-all that will wipe away the injustice in one fell swoop. Well, it seldom ever happens like that.
But, injustice doesn’t happen like that either most of the time. It is built up, methodical, systematic, and consolidated every day. This is how the struggle against it needs to be.
