It seems odd to me that a people who have suffered so long under dictatorship would still be unable to perceive the flaws of such a model of government, even while opposing it.
If you want to know what government looks like that does not require the consent of the governed and has no mechanisms for accountability, just look around you. You have it already.
Perhaps you oppose the current dictatorships because they are not Islamic dictatorships. But herein lies the problem with the dictatorship model. If it is Islamic today, there is nothing to prevent it from being un-Islamic tomorrow and you will have no mechanisms for correcting it.
