Just as the modern instruments of finance enable the rich to evade paying taxes on their net wealth, they can also be used to avoid remitting Zakaah in many cases. This requires a comprehensive systemic rehabilitation of the economic system.
Zakaah does not, and never has precluded the implementation of other financial regulations to ensure socioeconomic balance in the society.
