Seriously, I have to say, if someone like Erdogan, who has lifted Turkey out of a pit of the most extreme secular nationalism, who has revived the love and respect for Islam, who has severed ties with the Zionists, who has taken a stand against the coup in Egypt, who has rehabilitated Turkey’s image around the world and earned the love of the Ummah, and who leads the country that served as the organising principle forthe Muslim world for centuries.; if someone like Erdogan is not arrogant enough to declare himself Khalifah of the Muslims; that just shows how insanely deluded someone must be who does declare himself to be the Emir ul-Mu’mineen while all he has done is organise a militia and taken a piece of territory by means of carnage and spilling Muslim blood.
