I agree. Extremists who repress women need to be stopped. Like the extremists who dictate that women must expose their bodies. Like extremists who prohibit women from wearing the niqab. Like the extremists who prohibit a woman from having a co-wife. Like the extremists who insist women who raise families are less valuable than women who work for companies…

In the US, 300,000 women are raped per year (that’s a sexual assault about every minute and a half), 1 out of 5 women are raped in their lifetime, with only 2% of rapists ever convicted; at least 50,000 women and children are a sold into sexual slavery in the US each year; a woman is physically assaulted every 9 seconds; one-fourth of women experience sexual harassment in the workplace; at least 10 million women in the US have an eating disorder related to low self-esteem and self-consciousness about their bodies, and 91% of American women feel their bodies are inadequate.
The West could do a lot to stop the repression of women if they themselves would just stop repressing them
