“French soldiers accused of raping and abusing refugee children in Central African Republic in exchange for food in ‘leaked UN report'”
These are not rogue terrorists from some fringe radical group. They are members of the French military. But, of course, we will rationally characterize their actions as not representative of the French people as a whole. We will not call upon the French public to unanimously condemn these criminals, disown them, and declare that France does not condone the rape and abuse of children.
But perhaps we should.
