It is always worth repeating that the objective is not to destroy the multinational corporations and financial institutions targeted for revolutionary action, nor to drive them out of Egypt. The objective is to commandeer their influence by inflicting disruption and financial loss so that they understand support for Sisi and the neoliberal conquest of the country is not a profitable venture
We do not need them to collapse or to exit Egypt. We need them to use their power and influence in support of policies that benefit the population. Of course, they will not do this for altruistic reasons, they will do it in accordance with the internal logic of their corporate, profit-driven systems. It is because of this logic that they are supporting injustice and oppression, and it is by this same logic that we can transform that support into opposition.
