As most of you know, I have been subjected to a vicious campaign of slander ever since the strategic theory of system disruption and Open Source Revolution began to spread in the weeks and months prior to the Economic Summit last March.
Any time the ideas begin again to gain support among the revolutionaries, the campaign is re-ignited. It was made clear to me at the outset that I could avoid the malicious attacks if I simply withdrew, stopped writing, stopped contributing, and disappeared from the scene.
My family and I have suffered these attacks for several months now, and I know that every successful step towards spreading awareness and understanding of this strategy will inevitably bring more vilification and character assassination from those who pretend to hate me because of their love for the revolution, while, in fact, they hate my ideas and loathe the possibility of a genuine revolution to overthrow the power system.
They cannot argue with my ideas, so they rely on personal defamation. This is, of course, standard procedure
The renewed attention by the state media in Egypt on my writing and on the strategy of system disruption and targeting of multinationals coincides with the continuing growth of awareness among the revolutionary youth about these ideas, and signals their fear that the revolution will move in this direction.
It is, therefore, expected that I will be subjected to a new wave of personal attacks and slanders, as they try to subvert the spread of effective revolutionary strategy.
The first wave of their campaign began as soon as momentum was building against the Economic Summit last March, and we started to see revolutionary operations carried out against multinationals in Egypt.
At that stage of the campaign, the regime mobilized their clients among the “Islamists” to malign and slander me, and to dissuade people from following the ideas I write about. Al-Hamdulillah, this campaign failed, and the ideas continued to spread; although they were successful insofar as they were able to distract and divert people to some degree from organizing system disruption actions on the ground.
From that time until now, the collaborators with the regime who initiated and managed that campaign have largely been exposed, I therefore anticipate that state intelligence will no longer outsource the task, and will undertake the effort themselves to attack me personally; through pro-Sisi social media pages, mainstream state-controlled news outlets, and so on.
This is the reason for their increased coverage of my posts and their false presentation of me as a leader and a member of the Muslim Brotherhood. They want to put my ideas into a box (my individual personality), and then burn the box.
My apologies to all the respected friends and followers of this page for any unpleasantness that is undoubtedly to come. If you like, share, or comment on my posts, you are likely to be targeted in one way or another because you have committed the gravest anti-state sin: understanding and believing in effective revolutionary strategy.
By and large, I have not retaliated against these attacks, and instead concentrate on the mission of developing revolutionary strategy.
I have already endured seven years on Death Row, torture, lies and slander in the media, humiliation and abuse in prison. I never became involved in writing in the hopes of being loved or respected, and, in fact, originally offered my writing to various Islamist party leaders here in Turkey for them to publish under their own names.
It does not matter to me in the slightest what anyone thinks of me personally. Whether you think I am good or bad, it does not change the reality of corporate domination or the power dynamics of capitalist imperialism; and what must be done to liberate our countries from economic and political occupation.
My continued participation in this struggle, I am well aware, will continue to bring attacks and slanders, and I hope that by this, my attackers will transfer my own sins from my account to theirs , and that awareness of this strategy will continue to spread.
If our people are empowered and jihad is transformed to effectively respond to the new system of oppression; I am pleased, even if it means the blackening of my name.
Al-Hamdulillah ‘ala kulli hal.
