Maybe around a year ago, I opened a WordPress blog, but concentrated on publishing on Facebook, and neglected to update the blog.
Insha’Allah, I intend to convert the WordPress blog to an independent website, and reduce my writing on Facebook, if not close my account altogether within the next week or so.
As much as possible, I will try to move the Facebook archives over to the blog, but I am sure many old posts will not make the transfer. If you have any interest, I encourage you to browse the archive here and copy any old posts you find useful before this account is deactivated.
A website offers many advantages over Facebook posting, including the ability to embed hyperlinks to sources of information referred to in the posts, better organization of topics, and the ability to search archives. And, of course, I won’t have to worry about Facebook censorship or the sudden closure of my account.
The blog, at present, is not very attractive or content-rich, but, insha’Allah, I will begin posting daily.
