If the army takes over the government, the solution is not to disband the army. The army must return to its subordination under the government. Yes, its presence is always a potential threat, because it is so powerful; but mechanisms have to be in place to keep the military in check.
The same principle applies to multinational corporations. They must be subordinated to the government, instead of vice versa. As long as you have a mechanism for keeping power in check; you are the power.
Forcing multinationals to support rebel demands does not eliminate the power of multinationals, no; but it subordinates that power. We are not talking about “improving the conditions of slavery”, we are talking about becoming the masters.
Whoever can disrupt a system, controls it
