Forgiveness is imperative for building alliances. You will find many in Egypt today who regret their previous support for the coup. It was a grave and foolish mistake, and, surely many of them can see for themselves that they were applauding for a fire they thought would only burn their enemies houses, but which is now engulfing the whole country.
Remember that one can be wrong, and still have integrity and principles. didn’t Umar bin al-Khattab want to murder our Prophet ï·º at one time? Yet, Umar was always a man of principle.
Let your hunger for victory be greater than your thirst for revenge. Welcome into the resistance whoever has repented for their previous antagonism, even if you and they still disagree on other issues.
