Regarding the notion that some people are born homosexual rather than that they choose to engage in this behavior…
This reminds me of the similar theories put forward many years ago about criminal behavior. Some scientists claimed that criminals are born with different physiological features than non-criminals. Scientists claimed to be able to identify criminality genes or certain brain shapes that predisposed people to become criminals. And, of course, all of this was complete rubbish, though believed and advocated by experts at the time…for a time.
The most that they can “prove” is the presence of some sort of genetic abnormality in the brain, which they claim contributes to someone becoming homosexual. OK, that’s fine. But all that means is that some people have an abnormality in their brains which cause them to react and process things in a different way than those without the abnormality, and it is possible, perhaps likely, that this will impact their response to sexual feelings. Here we are talking about a psychological phenomenon. Sexual intercourse is a physical act, not a psychological one. All of the emotional and psychological elements of sexual intercourse are secondary to the basic physical nature and biological function of the act. Feeling effeminate does not endow your body with ovaries.
If a man has a psychological disorder which causes him to not feel attraction to women, it is exactly that; a psychological disorder. Everything else about him, his biology, his anatomy, are all normal. We do not deny the possibility that some people are born with abnormalities in their brains, but this does not supersede every other element of their nature, and it does not necessarily mean that they will behave differently than the rest of us, whether in terms of sexuality or anything else. Some people have short tempers, get angry easily, have addictive personalities, etc; that does not mean that being angry all the time or succumbing to addiction are “natural” and should not be controlled and treated. It doesn’t mean that those individuals have no choice in their behavior; even if perhaps making the right choices may require greater discipline and effort for them.
