There are indications that the coup attempt is, in fact, being undertaken by a minority within the army. That is why they seized control of the army’s website, and tried to control media outlets, to make their power appear greater than it is. And why they want people to be under cufew from 6am, so the people can’t see the actual size of their presence on the streets.
These are typical measures of a coup attempt by a small force
