You said that in order to establish an Islamic government it is necessary to have the popular support for that. But if we have the popular support, then why should we have elections and voting?

For obvious reasons. if you establish a dictatorship with no checks on power, no public accountability, what is the guarantee that the dictator remains Islamic?
Furthermore, despite what many people seem to think, most of the issues government deals with have little or nothing to do with Shari’ah, they have nothing to do with “establishing Islam”; they have to do with things like budget allocations, unemployment, trade, and so on. They have to do with issues that affect the daily lives of the people, and the people should have a say in deciding who should represent their interests in the legislature.
