When someone holds an opinion, and particularly when they express that opinion, without basing it on research and information; you know from the start that reality is not an important factor for them in their beliefs, nor is it an important factor for anyone who is persuaded by their opinion.
I am consistently amazed by this. You do realize it is possible for you to simply say, “I do not have enough information about such-and-such a matter to form an opinion about it”?
