If you think the ayah “whosoever rules by other than what Allah has revealed, they are Disbelievvers” is clear, obvious, explicit, and is to be understood by its apparent meaning; you have taken a position that none of the mufassireen ever adopted, and the first people in our history to take this position were the khawaarij; so ponder this.
