When rational people are cowards, the bravery of the young generation’s anger and frustration will inevitably erupt in irrational ways. If you have experience, and you have the power of reason, you have information, and you have understanding; then you have a social responsibility to be courageous. You must suppress your fear and sacrifice your comfort and stability, to preempt the youth from taking a path of uninformed, impetuous action that will end in catastrophe.
The young people who have exited the stalled car of the Muslim Brotherhood, and entered the passing sports car of Da’esh; which has no brakes, an overheated engine, and a reckless driver; constitute a loss for the Islamic movement. That car is going to ram into a tree, drive off a cliff, or end up in a ditch somewhere; and if the crash doesn’t kill them, it will at least leave them stranded; and their predicament comes down to the fact that the Ikhwan failed to maintain and fuel their vehicle.
