Everyone knows that the system is implosive by nature. Everyone knows that you cannot dispossess, humiliate, oppress and exploit masses of people without them objecting to that at some point. The increasing concentration of wealth and power in the hands of fewer and fewer people, and the impoverishment and marginalization of more and more people, is a recipe for social unrest. The elites understand this. They realize that their path is leading to severe instability. The Billionaires’ Revolution that has been ongoing for at least the past 5 decades, is laying the groundwork for an inevitable revolution by the serfs; and, of course, they are aware of this.
We are moving towards a world in which there are islands of extreme wealth floating in oceans of extreme poverty. You can easily predict how such a scenario will look, and how it will be maintained. This world will be a tremendously profitable one for the security industry and, of course, for biotechnology and big pharmaceutical sectors; as the conditions in which the poor majority live will tend to breed disease, and because the poor majority will need to be heavily policed. This, as I have written numerous times, is the real reason for the “War on Terror”; empowering the security and intelligence services to deal with the inevitable violent discontent of the masses. It is a pre-emptive counter revolution; putting down the uprising of the poor before it can even happen.
