The core demand for any revolution aiming to achieve Justice, equality, and brotherhood, must be to merge into one group the creators of wealth and the owners of wealth in society. Explore, as you will, the mechanisms for achieving that, but without this, there will never be significant change.
I don’t care if a revolutionary government is called a “khilafah” or not; if it fails to correct the system by which one group creates the wealth enjoyed by another group, while having no share in it themselves, I would continue to oppose it.
