In Arabic, the IMF is Googled globally 6,600 times. In Egypt specifically, searches for the IMF averaged around 900 a month, but Al-Hamdulillah, the number of searches has risen dramatically over the past month and a half or so, almost doubling the average. Last month Egyptians Googled the IMF approximately 2,000 times. That is still very low, considering how important that institution is, and how much power it has over the future of Egypt; but it is encouraging that awareness is spreading at least enough for more people to have questions about it.
