This is what a demonstration is supposed to be…Disruptive…not merely an expression of outrage, but an actual use of popular power to disable the system.
Whoever can go out in other parts of Egypt, should go. The dispute in Port Said is not just a local matter, rather this has to do with a comprehensive economic policy of dispossession, exploitation, and oppression that is impacting the entire population, and it is on the verge of getting much worse with the IMF loan.
If demonstrations spread now, it is far better than protests planned in advance for a particular date (11/11), because the authorities are not prepared now, but they will be prepared then.
