You have to understand that global corporate power structure, even though it is vast and spans every sector of industry and government, it is organized with in such a way that decision-making power is highly concentrated among a very small selection of people. There is nothing conspiratorial about this. We are not talking about some fantasy secret cult like the Illuminati or something. We are talking about shareholders who own controlling interests in a variety of monopolistic corporations, and these corporations in turn own networks of subsidiaries. These shareholders, this small group of elites, exert unparalleled political influence and institutions like the IMF and the World Bank exist as instruments to further their interests and agendas. There is nothing strange about corporations, banks, and governmental policy working in coordination; indeed, it would be strange if they didn’t.
What is happening in Egypt is not something new, it is a standard program that has been applied time and time again all around the world. That is what makes it so easy to predict. And its predictability is what makes It so easy to identify the best tactics for opposing it.
Put into action on the ground the basic concept of “no justice, no profit”. Impose consequences on business that business cannot tolerate. The policies are being implemented because they are profitable, if they are not profitable, they will not be imposed. Sisi is in power because he can implement these profitable policies, if he cannot do that, he will vanish. His job is to deliver Egypt over to the global owners of capital, if that transaction cannot be made profitably, it will be abandoned and renegotiated , and if you are the cause of that, you will be the ones who negotiate the new deal.
