The West is receding into a new Dark Ages; an era of mass irrationality under an extremely calculating, unscrupulous, highly manipulative authority whose power is concentrated in the hands of very few. The ruling authorities are not irrational; at least not in the general sense of the word; rather, they are exceedingly, even mercenarily reasonable.
They are irrational insofar as they are committed to an unsustainable project; the deprivation of the masses (deprivation of wealth, of services, of rights, of freedom, of education and skills). It is feudalism on a global scale.
Resistance to this will have to be global as well, but most importantly, resistance will have to be rational. We have to reclaim our own minds. We have to revive and rebuild our own ability to think, to discern, to deliberate, to analyze. We have to strengthen our ability to resist distraction and diversion.
