I don’t really care if you believe an economic system that depends on interest (riba) is fundamentally sinful, or you believe it is fundamentally unfair and unstable. If you are intelligent enough to oppose it, you should support Islamism.
I don’t really care if you believe that capital punishment for first degree murderers is legislated by God, or you simply believe that it is justice and an effective policy for prevention; and I don’t care if you agree that victims’ families should have the option to forgive a murderer because God gave them that right, or you just acknowledge the wisdom of this policy; if you support these things, you should support Islamism.
I don’t care if you believe that food, shelter, and clothing are God-given material rights that all people should have, or you believe it simply because you are a decent person; if you support this, you should support Islamism.
I don’t care if you believe that natural resources like water, oil, and gas, should not be exploited by corporate profiteers, but should belong collectively to the whole community because that is what God commanded, or because it just makes sense; if you support this, you should support Islamism.
We need to develop a policy platform along these lines, and present it to everyone, not only to each other.
