If the Palestinian Territories were absorbed into Israel, and the Palestinians were given Israeli citizenship, and equal voting rights; within the next 50 years, Israel would be the most developed, most prosperous, and most powerful Muslim Arab country in the world; the fact that it would be called “Israel” would be little more than a satisfying irony.
