7 year old Bana Abed tweeted that it would be better to start World War III than for Assad to win in Syria. There are many extremists who agree with her. Yes, they have the mentality of a 7 year old girl.
I recently saw an activist saying with great emotive emphasis that “the Syrian revolution was started by children”, referring to the early graffiti incident in Dara’a in 2011; as if it being “started by children” is a good thing. “I was a kid. I didn’t know what I was doing.” Said Naief Abazid, one of the boys who sprayed the graffiti. And that pretty well sums up how we got to where we are now.
