Girls get pregnant out of wedlock and are stigmatised, while the men who made them pregnant are not stigmatised.
Since the blame is unevenly distributed, we are told that the girls should be supported. So then there is no longer any blame for anyone, and it all becomes acceptable.
Rather than removing blame from the girl, it would be more appropriate to equally blame the man. This could actually prevent the epidemic from spreading. The Shari’ah does not differentiate between the two parties guilty of zina, but the culture does. And this sets off a downward spiral.
