The cancellation of the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) trade agreement is good news. It remains to be seen however if Trump’s solution of offshore jobs and outsourcing is going to be genuinely good for American workers, or whether he intends to replicate Third World conditions for workers in the US to offset the increased expense for American companies of keeping jobs in the country.
