It is tremendously important for any and all #Rohingya groups in Myanmar to strictly renounce violence.
There is nothing the global power structure would appreciate more than for resistance in Arakan / Rakhine to take up arms. Genocide isn’t genocide if it is “counter-insurgency”.
The Rohingya must distance themselves as much as possible from any sort of armed action. The government already claims that they are violent insurgents, while they are not; if they become violent, it would be a dream come true for the army.
