De-radicalisation does not take a long time. The arguments of extremists are easily debunked by basic knowledge of the religion, and common sense. The problem is that we falsely feel obliged to support their over-the-top rhetoric because it is “religious” in tone, and we assume they have noble intentions. But no, they are peddling lies and misinterpretation, and their aims are destructive to the religion and the lives of the Muslims.
