One of the simplest and most straightforward principles regulating jihad seems to be completely lost on Jihadis; namely that if armed fighting can only be reasonably expected to make the situation worse, it is prohibited to fight; even if you have the right, the justification, and the will. If you do not have the capability to succeed, and your actions will predictably result in worsening the conditions of the people, you must refrain from fighting.
