Transgender activists need to decide whether they are going to argue that gender is SCIENTIFICALLY a spectrum, or that gender is a social construct. You can’t do both.
The science does not support their claims, so once they reach the limit of that argument, they revert to the social construct argument.
But if we are going to demand protections for people based on their self-identification, this logically needs to be applicable to any and every other self-identification…and that is going to be problematic for them.
For instance, if you can say that disagreeing with the transgender theory is “transphobic”, then we can just as easily say that Atheism is “religiophobic” and constitutes hate speech against religious people.
