Extremism in the Muslim world, let’s all acknowledge, can never be remedied by non-Muslims, nor by their surrogates among the Muslims. The remedy to Muslim extremism is not Westernisation, and the more this is pushed on the Ummah, the more radicalization will spread. The remedy is, and always has been, genuine Islamic knowledge.
