So apparently Herve Jaubert has been in touch with his family, telling them that he is coming home.
There is no word on Sheikha Latifa, however. Jaubert’s yacht has set sail from a military base in Fujairah, UAE, and he called his family from the boat.
I suppose we can expect a story now coming from the UAE that Latifa regretted her actions, she will recant her allegations in the video she made before her escape, and the issue will subside.
There is no doubt that the media attention on this story, and particularly the interest on social media, has been decisive in helping to secure the safety and freedom of at least Herve Jaubert,and hopefully also of Tiina Jauhiainen.
